FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q - Why can I not pay for my item(s)?

A - Checkout has been temporarily disabled. Find out here about the reasons why ...

Q – Where does my Fashion Jewellery come from?
A – We only receive our high quality Fashion Jewellery from selected Brazilian designers and manufacturers; many items are handcrafted, all are presumed nickel free (apart from our "Bu-ri:tee" Collection), and we receive assurances from our manufacturers that their materials are from ethical sources only. Read more about our Quality Promise here.

Q – Can I buy these items anywhere else in the UK or Europe?
A – Unlikely. Most of our Fashion Jewellery is unique and exclusively available from www.almojewellery.com

Q – Can I return my items?
A – As a retail customer, of course! (Wholesalers still have statutory rights, too.) We appreciate that you can't try any items online, therefore you have 28 days to change your mind. After that, under certain circumstances, you may still return your items. Also make sure you read the size approximations under each product description to ensure correct fit and avoid disappointment. For full details on returns & refunds, please see our T&C’s!

Q – How can I pay for my Order?
A – All payment must be made electronically, i.e. by secure Credit or Debit Card payments. If you wish to use PayPal, you can also pay by this method.

Q – Will my personal details be secure?
A – Our servers and checkout platforms are all using secure https:// encryption.

Q – How can I contact you?
A – You can choose from various contact methods. Please refer to our Contact Us page.

Q – Do I need to have an account with Almojewellery?
A – No. You can complete and pay for an order via our ‘guest checkout’, however, we recommend you create your individual account as this will facilitate any future orders. Without an account, you may also miss out on any exciting offers and the latest news!

Q – I am worried when leave my email address that I may receive spam emails.
A – Don’t be. We will not share your details with any third parties other than what is required for legal reasons, and we will not send you any spam messages. We would, however, like to keep you informed of any upcoming offers etc., but you can always tell us if you do not wish to receive such messages.

Q – Is the P&P really free?
A – It is, as long as you are a retail customer (not a wholesaler) - and live in mainland UK - we want you to be able to see the end price of the product(s) you choose, without any hidden costs. For any European Economic Area (EEA) country, the current delivery charge per order is £4.99 (free for orders over £50). For any other parts of the world, or for optional Express Delivery, please contact us, or check the shipping costs on our checkout page.

Q – How long will my delivery take?
A – Most orders will be posted by either Royal Mail Signed For® 1st Class, Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed or Royal Mail International Standard, depending on the destination and order value. Delivery times vary from 1 to 7 working days, based on the chosen service. We aim to dispatch most orders within two working days from clearance of payment, but the actual delivery time will depend on the carrier(s) involved. For more details please refer to our T&C's.

Q – How can I check the status of my order?
A – We will send you an email to confirm when the item has shipped. As said before, most shipments are tracked, in which case, if you haven’t received your item within the specified time, both of us will be able to track it by using an individual tracking number.

Q – Do you deliver abroad?
A – Currently, there are a number of additional countries outside the UK, the European Union, the US and Canada where we can deliver to. Please contact us for details regarding your country. We will also announce should any further destinations become eligible for free delivery.

Q – Where can I find the available sizes of your jewellery?
A – Under the individual product descriptions details. Please remember that some items are of limited availability and may only be available in one particular size. For Ring size conversions see this Blog post.

Q – How do I care for my Fashion Jewellery?
A – We suggest you look after your items just as you would do with any bespoke jewellery. For detailed information please read our Care Instructions.

Q – Why do you not have a permanent Fashion Jewellery range?
A – Our manufacturers change their lines all the time. They believe in keeping up with the latest Brazilian fashion trends. This means that your Almojewellery pieces will be almost unique where you live (they are not likely to be available elsewhere in the UK and Europe at the moment). We therefore suggest that you purchase any items you've fallen in love with as quickly as possible!

Q – What other Fashion Accessories may I be able to purchase from you?
A – In the near future, we at ALMO Brazil hope to bring to you an exciting choice of handbags, shoes, sandals etc., all manufactured in Brazil. Keep checking our website and our Blog for more news!
